Originally from the UK, Chris Jackson is an Industrial Designer living in Wellington, New Zealand, where he is Lecturer in Industrial Design at Massey University. His clients include Habitat, Marset, Dark, Innermost, 100% Design, Object Magazine and the New Dowse. Chris is interested in many design-related things including curating, the open source movement, manufacturing on demand and critical design. In 2006 he conceived and organised the double award winning exhibition TEN, a collective that continues to come together once a year and produce new and innovative work around the subject of sustainability. His work has won numerous design prizes and awards, and has been extensively published and exhibited internationally.
